How fitting works for Polestar vehicles
Fitting an alcohol interlock to an electric vehicle follows the same process as any other car. Drop your vehicle off at our Randwick centre in the morning and, in most cases, it's ready for collection the same afternoon. Our technicians are experienced working with keyless-start systems, so the interlock integrates with your normal start-up routine.
Regular servicing is required under the NSW Alcohol Interlock Program regardless of what you drive — we handle that on the same schedule as any petrol or diesel vehicle.

Will an interlock affect how my Polestar drives?
No — the interlock only affects the ability to start the vehicle until a valid breath sample is provided. It doesn't interfere with driving.
